What is the occupancy tax?
The occupancy tax has existed for nearly a century in the majority of tourist areas in France and internationally. Collected by your hosts, it is given to the local town to go towards the costs of tourism in the area. The money goes towards many things, including reception and events, so you are a direct benificiary of the money you give!

Campsite / Caravan park 5* : 0.55 €
Campsite / Caravan park 3 and 4* : 0.40 €
